HALLOWEEN YOGA CLASS IDEAS: 5 KID-FRIENDLY CHAIR YOGA POSES
Follow this Halloween yoga pose sequence below (it is specifically designed to flow from one pose to the next) or make up your own:
1. DANCERS POSE ā PRETEND TO BE A BALLET DANCER.
How to practice Dancerās Pose with a chair: stand tall in Mountain Pose and place your right hand on the back of your chair. Standing on your right leg, reach your left leg out behind you. Place the outside of your foot into your left hand, bend your torso forward with your hand on the back of the chair for balance, and arch your left leg up behind you. Imagine you are a ballet dancer. Switch sides and repeat the steps.

2. SEATED FORWARD BEND ā PRETEND TO BE A WITCH.
How to practice Seated Forward bend on a chair: come to sitting on your buttocks on the edge of your chair, with your legs straight out in front of you and your feet flexed. Bend your torso forward while keeping your spine straight. Take your hands out in front of you, pretending to stir a witchās brew.

3. CAT POSE ā PRETEND TO BE A CAT.
How to practice Cat Pose with a chair: come to sitting comfortably in your chair, with your hands in your knees. Round your back and tuck your chin into your chest. Pretend to be a kitty cat stretching its back.

4. CHILDāS POSE ā PRETEND TO BE A LADYBUG.
How to practice Childās Pose on a chair: from a sitting position on your chair, slowly bring your forehead down to rest on your knees (or on your folded arms on top of your desk), and take a few deep breaths. Pretend to a be a resting ladybug.

5. HERO POSE ā PRETEND TO BE A MERMAID.
How to practice Hero Pose on a chair: come back to sitting upright in your chair, with your hands on your knees. Open your chest and pretend to be a mermaid(or a merman) sitting on a rock. Close your eyes, if thatās comfortable. Take a few deep breaths.
